The intensive trainer is a combination of test book and exercise book with a consistent uniform scoring system and an evaluation at the end of each lesson. The exercises are thematically linked to the step lesson in question. For each lesson there are exercises on five pages in the following categories: 1) "grammar" 2) "vocabulary" with tips on vocabulary work and reference to the learning vocabulary on the Internet 3) "reading" 4) "listening" 5) "speaking": training dialogues and speeches.
